my other big resolution for '09 is not to be so wasteful. of course it's never my intention, but somehow i end up wasting a lot of good food and throwing it away when it goes bad, or buying new clothes when i don't necessarily wear the ones i own. both out of ethical and economic concerns, there's good reason to be mindful of my wastefulness in '09. so, that's my plan.
what are YOUR New Year's resolutions?

the real question is how many days of the year do people hold themselves accountable for the new year's resolutions that they make? there's a reason why the gym is always crowded in the beginning of the year than at the end (although i'm willing to bet there's a spike in attendance right before the summer begins). i think the best new year's resolution to have is one that is all-encompassing/general and not too lofty.
my new year's resolution is to be a better person than i was last year. it's simple and there's plenty of things that i can do to accomplish this goal. i won't be dejected after the first month of attempting to do one specific thing since there are many avenues to achieve my goal.
we only have 3 more years of new year's resolutions anyway (see: december 21, 2012). haha!
you rock candace!
