Of soccer and celebrities

While you were off marching for a new stadium, candace, DC's elite mingled with the beauties of hollywood at the White House Correspondents' Dinner -- a night where just a little bit of booze can make the weight of the world a little less heavy on a politician's shoulders and celebrities can  pretend like they're actually important. Joking aside, photos # 1, 5, and 6 of this daily beast gallery make me very happy / jealous of the beautifulness. I'm also quite amused at this photo of my former employer, the good Dr McLaughlin, meeting blogger Julia Allison. Having had many an awkward personal interaction with the man, i can only imagine what he said to charm (::cough::cough::) the beautiful ms. allison.

Ok, but back to the important part... DCU! The march, tailgate, and game were all amazing. Between 2:47 and 2:57 of this video you can see me and my friends marching down East Capitol (i'm holding my sign with a pic of nick's face on it).
