who says i'm 25?

pretty sure my current obsession with twilight means im 15. i read the first book in less than a week, and am 1/3 of the way through 'new moon.'  later, i'll be blogging about it for the relaunch of www.rosalindwiseman.com, discussing how 'twilight' can help adults reconnect with what it feels like to be a teenager in love for the first time.

oh and as much as a i detest smoking in real life, i like this photograph.

fashion emergency!

my trip to columbus in february (during which i spent 3 + hours outside in a torrential downpour) made it abundantly clear that it's time to get myself some rainboots. i've always thought it was a silly idea -- how wet can ur feet get if u have an umbrella, right? -- but they're really necessary in DC, where it starts to get wet as soon as the weather warms up in springtime. since it's expected to rain again this weekend, and i'm going to another soccer game, i need to get a pair ASAP. so the choice now is... which to choose? vote for your favorite in the comments today, and i plan to purchase at the end of the day.
